Resilient Floor Maintenance
Let Stearns Cleaning Strip, Refinish, and Maintain your Resilient floors in your facility.Steps for proper maintenance of resilient floors
- Complete Strip Old wax and dirt build up away at least Annually, or for new floors Strip Factory Finish.
- Apply 4 to 5 coats of finish.
- Dust mop floor daily with treated dry mop.
- Damp mop floor daily with specified cleaner for the type of floor being maintained.
- High Speed burnish and or Spray buff areas daily, weekly, Monthly depending traffic to harden finish and maintain luster.
- Scrub and Recoat Monthly, Quarterly, or semi annually depending on traffic.
- Every floor and conditions are different and can not all be treated equal. Maintaining these type of floors is an art, and if not done properly the floor will yellow and or wear quickly. Once finish is worn off the floor it could be damaged.
- Remember - Ultimately floor finish is applied to protect the floor.
